A review of our findings along with recommendations as to
how to proceed.

  • Repair or new build determinations.
  • Building Consent records review - detailed analysis of non-consented elements, breaches of usage rights, commentary on construction of elements in relation to the building code, problems these non-consented elements will pose with regard to repair or replacement and compliance with the building code should works proceed to repair.
  • Determination as to whether works are suitable for an exemption to the requirement of building consent/s in accordance with the building code.

Brad Dalzell MNZIQS

Tim is an Architectural Designer with a real passion for
residential design, applying his extensive work experience
in ‘solution focused’ design.

Tim qualified in New Zealand and has worked as an Architectural Designer for 22 years, including NZ, UK and Australia. Primarily working in the residential sector Tim’s extensive experience enables him to provide architectural design solutions to meet the complex nature of residential reinstatement and repair projects. With a
sound knowledge of the NZ building code and the NZ construction regulatory environment Tim is well qualified to provide pragmatic
and cost efficient solutions to all residential projects.

“Each design and home is treated as if it were my own. I am constantly balancing best design versus cost. It’s usually the most practical solution that gets the best result.”

Brad has been driving the cogs in the New Zealand
construction industry for more than 20 years, on-site, off-site, main contractor, subcontractor and client side engagements.

A building apprenticeship was Brad’s springboard into a quantity surveying career.

“It was the perfect start to my career as a quantity surveyor because my knowledge and understanding isn’t just a book
read learning – I’ve been there and worked on the tools.”

It’s this technical background that has helped make Brad one of
the foremost experts in his field, and one that qualifies him very well to be helping people achieve the best outcomes from their building projects. Brad has worked with and continues to consult
to leading home building companies, commercial contractors, developers and subcontractors giving him an innate understanding to all aspects of construction industry. With a focus to staying current and continued development Brad continues to engage
with all facets of the industry.
